Plant & people

Forging Nepal's infrastructure.

Precision engineering and industrial-scale capacity, built for the country's most demanding structural work.

Industrial core

Hot dip
galvanization

Our strategy is to give single-door service to our customers, so a separate galvanization unit with the latest technology is installed within our factory premises. The unit occupies 800 m² of built-up area and runs the largest zinc vat in its class at 8.0 m long. We use semi-automated technology for quality control and operation of the GI plant.

Field operations

Steel erection
& installation

Fabrication and galvanizing are only half the job. Safe Steels erects what it builds — our own crews handle site assembly of truss and plate girder bridges, warehouse frames, plant structures and towers, so responsibility for fit-up and tolerances stays with the people who cut the steel.

  • 15+ steel truss bridges erected
  • 40+ trial bridges across Nepal
  • In-house crews, no subcontracting

Precision fabrication

Bespoke
fabrication services

Safe Steel's workshop in Chitwan is well equipped with state of the art plant, machinery and tools. It extends over a total built-up area of 1,500 m² for the fabrication workshop and 5,000 m² of material stacking and handling yard. All machines are in good condition and available in sufficient quantity to execute up to 2,500 MT of fabrication work per year within the factory premises.

    Site Erection

Full site erection of steel structures, carried out by our own crews with the lifting and rigging equipment to match.

  • Hot dip galvanized steel scaffolding components with zinc coating
    06

    Hot Dip Galvanization

Galvanization of all steel sections in a dedicated in-house unit with one of the largest zinc vats in the country.

Technical

Design & engineering.

We manage the whole lifecycle of a steel structure — from the design office through the galvanizing bath to the crew bolting it together on site.

  • 01

    Structural design and detailing

Headed by a Masters in Structural Engineering with more than 15 years of experience, our team works designs up against your specification, load cases and site constraints.

  • 02

    Written coating specification

Galvanizing is executed to the minimum mean coating thickness set out in ISO 1461, matched to the thickness of each steel section.

  • 03

    Independent material testing

An in-house laboratory handles general testing; specific testing goes to the Central Material Testing Laboratory in Lalitpur, so results are verified rather than self-certified.

  • 04

    Delivery to remote sites

Fabricated and galvanized sections are supplied and erected by our own crews, including sites well away from the highway network.
